They’re Obsessing Over The Wrong Things

Americans need help, not political fixation and culture wars.

We have bigger fish to fry.

1. California is dealing with a housing crisis.

2. Families are struggling with grocery costs.

3. People can’t afford rent.

4. Gas prices are out of control.

5. Healthcare costs keep rising.

And what is the Trump administration focusing on?

Trying to collect data on transgender healthcare and abortion care in California.

Seriously?

This is what they’re spending their time on while working people are barely holding it together?

I’m running for re-election because I believe government should solve actual problems instead of manufacturing culture war panic for political attention.

My name is Sydney Kamlager-Dove, and I represent California’s 37th Congressional District.

I believe people deserve privacy, dignity, and the freedom to make personal healthcare decisions without politicians inserting themselves into exam rooms and medical records.

The Trump administration recently subpoenaed records from hospitals providing gender-affirming care for minors, claiming they were investigating “health care fraud.”

Now California lawmakers are moving to strengthen protections for providers and patients who fear their medical information could be weaponized politically.

Stand with me if you believe politicians should stop targeting vulnerable people to distract from their own failures.

This administration keeps picking fights that do absolutely nothing to improve people’s lives.

❌None of this lowers rent.
❌None of this lowers grocery prices.
❌None of this helps working families.
❌None of this fixes healthcare access.

And meanwhile, ordinary Americans are begging for leadership focused on the economy, housing, healthcare, education, and basic stability.

I’m angry because vulnerable people keep getting turned into political punching bags while the real issues facing this country get ignored.

I’m fighting for affordable housing, reproductive freedom, healthcare access, voting rights, and policies that actually help people live with dignity and security.
